Welcome to Crypticorn's Localization Project! 🎉

We use Weblate to manage translations. This guide helps you contribute effectively and avoid common mistakes.

Getting Started

1. Visit our Weblate page
2. Choose your language
3. Click “Translate” to start
4. Follow this guide to format correctly!

Translation Syntax

We use MessageFormat syntax in the source strings. Please preserve placeholders when translating!

These must appear exactly as in the original. Do not translate or change their structure. Examples:

.input { $count :number } .match $count one {{{$count} Month Lock}} * {{{$count} Months Lock}}

✅ Correct

{{$count} Month Lock} → {{$count} Monat Sperre} (German)

❌ Incorrect

Replacing {{$count}} with a hardcoded number or changing the curly braces or spacing

This logic apply to things like:

• { $count }
• { username }
• { name, number } If you're unsure, leave a comment on Weblate, and our maintainers will help!

Safety Tips

• ✔️ Copy placeholders exactly. Even extra spaces can break the app!
• ✔️ Use the "Automatic Suggestions" tab for reference.
• ❌ Never translate placeholders. Leave them as-is.
• ❌ Don't copy/paste from Google Translate—it may break formatting.

If you are unsure, you can always "Suggest" a translation and other contributors can review it.
